Franklin College History Requirement

Franklin College Requirement: One course

The Franklin College History Requirement can be satisfied by any History (HIST) course or its cross-listed equivalent.

The course must be at least 3 hours and taught at the undergraduate level (1000-5999). Except for Multicultural selections, no course may be used to satisfy more than one Franklin College Requirement.

PLEASE NOTE: The US/GA History Exam (https://history.uga.edu/usga-history-exam) does not satisfy the Franklin College History requirement, as it does not provide course credit for any class. Students who pass the US/GA History Exam are still required to take one HIST course to fulfill the Franklin College History requirement.
