She began working with the Franklin College Office of Academic Advising in 2015 as support staff, until she became a departmental advisor for Computer Science the following year. Ms. Rowland has been advising undergraduate Computer Science majors since 2016. In addition to her regular caseload, she also serves as pathway advisor for multiple Computer Science Double Dawg programs. She holds certificates in Academic Advising, Diversity and Inclusion, and was named Franklin College Outstanding Academic Advisor of the Year in 2018.
