The Franklin College of Arts and Sciences offers a variety of supplemental, support, and merit-based scholarships through its different academic departments. To get more information about scholarships offered by a Franklin department, please refer to that department's website.

Franklin College is currently implementing a new scholarship website, Franklin InfoReady, where students will be able to find information about Franklin scholarship opportunities, submit applications, and receive awards. Currently, only a few scholarships are available on the platform, but more will become available in Spring 2027. If you do not see any scholarships for your major on InfoReady currently, we recommend you reach out to your department for more information regarding scholarships that may be available to you.

The Office of Student Financial Aid (OSFA) awards need-based and merit-based scholarships to eligible UGA students. For need-based scholarships, all admitted students who submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) are automatically reviewed for available forms of financial aid. Merit-based scholarships are awarded as part of the admission process. No additional application is required. Students may visit the OSFA webpage or contact the Office of Student Financial Aid at osfa@uga.edu with questions about the types of financial aid for which they may be eligible.

In addition to scholarships offered by Franklin College, students can also use ScholarshipUniverse to search for outside/private (non-UGA) scholarship opportunities.
