She is also an affiliate academic coach with the Office of Student Success and Achievement. As an undergraduate English major, she was so involved in the theatre department that she graduated with more course hours in theatre than in her major, so she's an advocate for double majoring when students have multiple interests. She continued to be involved in community, academic, and professional theatre off and on for many years, including a little film experience as well, wrote a theatre column for Flagpole magazine, and was active with Athens Toastmasters. Her current favorite activity outside of advising UGA students is storytelling with Rabbit Box Athens. Education: She has a Bachelor of Arts in English with a double minor in Theatre from Auburn University and a Master of Arts in Religion from the University of Georgia. She has training in Reflective Structured Dialogue through the UGA Fanning Institute of Leadership Development and in Mindful Conflict Management through the KSU Center for Conflict Management. During her time on staff at the Department of Theatre and Film since 2007, she has earned a Certificate in Academic Advisement, Advanced Academic Advising Certificate, UGA Pride Center Safe Space training, Certificate of Inclusion, Mental Health First Aid, and Academic Coaching training (InsideTrack) through the Office of Student Success and Achievement.
