Lauren Corvino graduated from Clarion University of Pennsylvania in 2016 with a B.A. in History, followed by an M.A. in Atlantic World History from the University of Georgia. Lauren also holds a Graduate Certificate in Women's Studies from UGA. They started out working as a Graduate Program Assistant in the Department of Anthropology before transferring to the Office of Student Academic Services in Franklin College where they advise primarily lower-division Biology, Computer Science, and Psychology majors in Brooks Hall. Lauren is Dawg Ally trained and their office is a safe space for all students. They are currently completing courses through Training and Development toward the Certificates in Academic Advising and in Diversity and Inclusion. 

In their spare time, Lauren enjoys taking their dog on hikes, attending the UGA Lady Dawgs basketball games, and playing board games with their friends such as Settlers of Catan.
