Marilena joined Franklin College in 2024 as an upper-division Computer Science advisor. Prior to joining Franklin, she served as an Academic Advisor in the Terry College of Business and the Kogod School of Business at American University in Washington, DC.

Currently, Marilena serves as the Student Engagement and Retention Specialist for the Office of Student Academic Success, where she facilitates and promotes student engagement and career readiness opportunities for Franklin College undergraduate students. 

Outside of work, she enjoys crafting the perfect playlist, savoring a good cup of coffee, and planning her next adventure.
