Nancè Daniels Maiorino, aka Dr. NED, joins the Franklin College Academic Advising team having taught Communication, Media Studies, and Film at the University of North Georgia since 2015. She was student-club advisor for the Communication Club. With an MFA in dramaturgy from the State University of New York/Stony Brook, and a PhD in comparative literature from the University of Georgia, she now advises students in the Psychology Department. She studied journalism and English at Ohio Wesleyan University. Her previous roles at UGA have included adjunct faculty in the (then) Drama Department, and graduate teaching assistant instructor of record for more than 1,000 students in Comparative Literature.
